Hi, I’m Andrew Steger—illustrator, designer, and founder of Maple Key Studio.

Maple Key is a one-person creative studio based in Bentonville, Arkansas, built on a love for clever visuals, good storytelling, and thoughtful design. I specialize in bold, idea-driven illustration and multimedia work that connects deeply with people—whether through a punchline, a protest, or a poster on your wall.

Over the past 16+ years, I’ve partnered with national brands like Mountain Dew, Tide, Spin Master, and Onyx Coffee, as well as musicians like St. Paul and the Broken Bones. I’ve also worked with agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, bringing big ideas to life for household names. At the same time, I’ve created grassroots, mission-driven work for churches, nonprofits, and local businesses here in Northwest Arkansas. From custom merch to sermon visuals, street art to packaging—I like to say I bring big-agency polish with small-town weird.

I’m also a neurodivergent artist who’s learning to lean into the way my brain works instead of fighting against it. That’s shaped everything from the way I collaborate to the way I build visual metaphors—honest, layered, and a little unexpected.

Whether you’re a creative director, a small business, or someone with a big idea and no idea how to show it—I’d love to help bring it to life.

What I do:

  • Illustration (digital & traditional)

  • Poster & merch design

  • Retail display design (Target, Walmart, Walgreens)

  • E-commerce content & Walmart Brand Page Design

  • Laser etching & physical media (Glowforge + Epilog)

  • Animation & motion graphics

  • Creative direction & consulting

  • Visual storytelling for churches & nonprofits

Let’s make something meaningful—and maybe a little weird—together.
